NEW! IZONE Full-Day Monday Camp
(Provided at No Cost to Families)

Serving Pre-K through 5th Grade
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
On select Mondays when school is not in session, Imagination Zone offers a full-day program designed to support working families while enriching the lives of students. With a structured routine, engaging curriculum, and caring staff, our Monday program ensures your child’s day is filled with purpose, play, and discovery.
Our Full-Day Monday Program begins in January and is available on the following school-closed dates:

Camp Dates in Orange
RSVP Procedure for Monday Camp
Each month, Kristi Murrell will send out a Google form for you to select which Mondays your child will attend camp. The form will also include the option to preorder breakfast and lunch.
If you RSVP and your child does not attend, they will be marked as a “No Show.” After three No Shows without notice, your child will no longer be able to attend Monday Camp.
We understand that things come up. If your child is sick or won’t be attending after you’ve RSVP’d, please contact us before camp begins by either:

Program Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
7:30–8:00 AM | Arrival & Breakfast – Students are welcomed and provided a breakfast.
8:00–8:30 AM | Morning Meeting – Group check-in to introduce the day’s theme and outline expectations.
8:30–9:30 AM | Thematic Learning Block – PreK–1st: Activities from the Kids Learning for Life curriculum. 2nd–5th: Problem-solving and team challenges using SkillFire from Destination Imagination.
9:30–10:15 AM | Arts or STEM Activity – Hands-on enrichment through age-appropriate creative or science-based projects.
10:15–11:00 AM | Outdoor Play – Structured and free-play time to support physical development and social engagement.
11:00–11:30 AM | Reading & Reflection – PreK–1st: Storytime with group discussion. 2nd–5th: Independent reading, journaling, or partner reflection.
11:30–12:00 PM | Lunch – Lunch
12:00–1:00 PM | Rest & Quiet Time – PreK–1st: Nap or rest time. 2nd–5th: Quiet activities such as drawing, puzzles, or reading.
1:00–2:00 PM | Project-Based Exploration – Continuation of curriculum with guided group work and creative challenges.
2:00–2:30 PM | Snack & Social Time – Healthy snack and time to unwind and connect with peers.
2:30–3:15 PM | Learning Centers & Games – Board games, puzzles, building centers, and student choice activities.
3:15–4:00 PM | Outdoor Wrap-Up & Dismissal – Final outdoor play, reflection, and dismissal preparation.
Prek- 1st Grade - Kids Learning for Life
For our youngest learners, the focus is on building confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills through engaging activities and a consistent routine.
What Their Day Includes:
Active Play & Movement – Outdoor games and indoor play to help kids burn energy and build coordination.
Homework Help – Gentle support for practicing letters, numbers, and early assignments.
Storytime – Daily read-alouds to encourage a love for books and language.
Arts & Crafts – Painting, coloring, and creating with their hands to boost imagination and fine motor skills.
STEM Explorations – Fun science and building activities that spark curiosity.
Puzzles & Learning Games – Matching, sorting, and thinking games that challenge little minds in fun ways.
We focus on helping young children feel successful, supported, and excited to learn.
2nd - 5th Grade - Destination: Imagination
Our older students benefit from a curriculum that’s both fun and challenging. We encourage teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving every day.
What to expect:
Homework Support – Time and help to finish schoolwork and build good study habits.
STEM Projects & Challenges – Science labs, maker activities, and group tasks that get kids thinking.
Creative Problem Solving – Inspired by Destination Imagination, we use teamwork-based challenges to build imagination and innovation.
Arts & Expression – Time to draw, paint, build, or create something unique.
Board Games & Strategy Play – Classic games and new favorites that teach patience, logic, and sportsmanship.
Outdoor Time – Group games and movement to round out the day.
We aim to create a space where kids can explore ideas, solve problems, and express themselves — all while having fun with friends.
