NEW! IZONE Full-Day Monday Camp
(Provided at No Cost to Families)

Serving Pre-K through 5th Grade
On select Mondays when school is not in session, Imagination Zone offers a full-day program designed to support working families while enriching the lives of students. With a structured routine, engaging curriculum, and caring staff, our Monday program ensures your child’s day is filled with purpose, play, and discovery.
Our Full-Day Monday Program begins in January and is available on the following school-closed dates:

Drop-Off Window: 7:30–8:30 AM
Program Start: 8:30 AM sharp
Camp Ends: 4:00 PM (Pick-up by 4:30 PM)
Aftercare: Students enrolled in the IZONE Afterschool program may stay until 6:30 PM at no extra cost.
Meals: Breakfast & lunch provided only with pre-order through Kristi’s RSVP form.
Absences: Please let us know if your child will be absent. After three no-show absences without notice, eligibility may be suspended.
Location: Offered at all KISD elementary campuses
IZONE partners with Kennedale ISD to provide Monday Camp care and support for students enrolled in the district’s Essential Academics (EA) / Life Skills classrooms.
This program is only offered at the R.F. Patterson IZONE site for Monday Camp days.

Each month, Kristi Murrell will send families a Google Form link to RSVP for that month’s Monday Camp.
Why we ask you to RSVP:
*To plan staffing and make sure we have the right ratios
*To pre-order breakfast and lunch from KISD Food & Nutrition
*To prepare materials and activities for the correct number of students
What parents need to do:
*Watch for the email or text with the RSVP form link
.*Complete form for your child, indicating whether they will be absent.
*Submit the form by the deadline listed so we can finalize staffing and meal counts.

Our youngest campers learn through play, movement, and hands-on exploration. Each day builds confidence, independence, and social skills in a fun, structured way.
What Their Day Includes:
Active Play – Indoor and outdoor games that build coordination and confidence.
Storytime & Learning Games – Reading, puzzles, and early learning activities that spark curiosity.
Arts & Crafts – Creative projects that encourage imagination and fine motor skills.
STEM Fun – Simple science and building challenges to explore how things work.
Nature Time – Outdoor discovery through exploring, observing, and creating.
We focus on helping every child feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and play each Monday.
Our older campers enjoy hands-on learning that’s both fun and challenging. Each Monday builds teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills.
What to Expect:
Homework Support – Time and help to finish assignments and build good study habits.
STEM Projects & Challenges – Science labs, maker activities, and team challenges that get kids thinking.
Creative Problem Solving – Destination Imagination-style projects that spark innovation and teamwork.
Arts & Expression – Opportunities to draw, paint, build, and create unique projects.
Games & Strategy Play – Classic and new games that teach logic, sportsmanship, and cooperation.
Outdoor Time – Group games and movement activities to keep kids active.
TX Parks Lessons
In partnership with Texas Parks & Wildlife, students take part in hands-on outdoor lessons that build curiosity about nature, wildlife, and water while strengthening science and literacy skills.
Adventure & Exploration
Each Monday brings something new—a science mystery to solve, a building challenge to conquer, or a nature activity to explore. We aim to create a space where students can think creatively, work together, and have fun learning in new ways.
